Praveen Kumar

Founder

Praveen Kumar is a seasoned HR and Resource Management leader with over 19 years of global experience in building scalable workforce solutions across India, APAC, EMEA, and ANZ.

Throughout his career, Praveen has partnered with business leaders, startups and global enterprises to align people strategies with business growth. His expertise spans workforce planning, talent acquisition, HR operations, compliance, and large-scale resource management, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and sustainable organizational design.

Before founding 08World, Praveen held leadership roles with globally recognized organizations including Autodesk, Informatica, IBM, and most recently served as Head of HR for a fast-growing EV manufacturing startup. Across these roles, he has successfully built high-performing teams, implemented scalable HR frameworks, optimized workforce utilization, and supported multi-region operations.

Praveen is a Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP®) and is known for his practical, business-first approach — combining data-driven decision-making with a strong understanding of people dynamics.
